Advanced Back Office Printer Setup


The printer settings interface column properties are explained as follows:
Name: Printer name, naming rules will be explained in the following content
IP: The ip address of the printer
Backup Printer: The printer selected is the backup printer
Copy: The number of printed tickets from this printer
Native Mode: Yes–Print using the printer’s  font, No–Use photo mode to print tickets, New–Setup is done in the New Back Office
Font Type: When Native Mode is No, Font type could be checked. Fx is a traditional font, Sx is a simplified font
Font Size: The size of the line spacing. Fill in the negative number to reduce the line spacing. Fill in the positive number to increase the line spacing. The larger the number is, the larger the change is.
Tail lines: The amount of blank lines at the end of the receipt
Model: Select the printer brand model
Term Allowed: The terminals selected will print from that printer
Front Back: The printer that prints the guest ticket with the computer should select Front, and the rest of the printer choose Back.
Name: Yes – prints the name of the printer, No – does not print the name of the printer
Update: Print or not a ticket that is updated
Void&Delete: Print or not a ticket that is voided or some items deleted
Item Group: No– the same dish is printed as a dish. Yes– the number in front shows the total number
Price: Whether to print the price
Total: Whether to print the total amount
Label: Yes: Every dish will be printed on a single ticket as a “label”. No: As normal.
Address: No — not print the store name and address, Reg — print store name and address in regular font, +H — print store name and address in H font, +L — print store name and address in large font
Header: Customer1-Customer3Cut–Print tickets of the guest ticket, Staff1-Staff4–ticket head for the internal ticket, Customer3Cut–print a guest ticket of seat number ticket and a regular guest ticket
Beep: Do you need a “bleep” sounding prompt when printing, No–No sound is set, and selecting a number means a few sounds before printing the ticket
AD msgs: Whether to print advertising information (set in Setting)
Divider line: Whether to print a dotted line between each dish
Selection: Click on the blue underlined or switch the lower part to set the print content to be displayed by category or by item.
Type: Check the category to be printed on this printer.
Reference: Tickets printed from back printers could have other printers’ item printed on themselves.  check the printers in Reference need be printed on this printer. Selection must be checked by Item. Won’t work with selection made by Category.
Front Font: When the printer is set to Front, select the print font format here.
Back Font: When the printer is set to Back, select the print font format here.
Coption: Hide– options not to print on ticket. New– options will be printed as a new line. Same– options will be  printed on the same line with dishes
Modifier: New– Modifiers will be printed as a new line. Same– Modifiers will be  printed on the same line with dishes
All items or categories are listed in the lower part of the printer. When checked, the printer will print the order.
Combo 2nd lang: Yes–If second language enabled, both languages will print on receipt. No– Only selected language will print on receipt
Room Allowed: The rooms selected will print orders from that printer

Name Rules for Printer

1.Term
The name of the printer connected to the computer must be set to contain the keyword “term”, such as term1, and front must be checked.
2.Pack, packer, bag
The printer name of the printed package should be set to include the keywords “pack”, “packer” or “bag”. If you want to print the tickets for server to deliver food, the same ip must set two printers, a Packer, Pack or Bag, print orders other than dinein, another runner only prints Dinein
3. Label
Name of the label printer must contain the keyword “Label” and set to Back

3.1 Printer name should be set to contain the keyword “Label”
3.2 Model to check Epson
3.3 Front and Back can not be selected
3.4 Label Select No
